Ingredients:
- 3 pounds pork or beef (cook 1 ½ hours)
- ½ cup onion
- 1 cup celery
- 1 Tbl. mustard
- 4 Tbl. Worchester sauce
- 2 Tbl. sugar
- 3 Tbl. vinegar
- 1 (14 oz.) bottle catsup
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 1 tsp. salt
- ½ tsp. pepper
- 1 tsp. chili powder
Directions:
- Combine ingredients.
- Cook at least 20-30 minutes. More flavor the longer it cooks.
- OR place in crockpot (no need to cook meat first). High: 5 hour Low: 8 – 10 hours
Dehydrate:
Spread on covered dehydrator trays and dehydrate for 5 ½ hours at 145 degrees.
Yield: 24 servings (weight 1 dehydrated serving = 1.5 ounces per serving)
Rehydrate:
- Cover with water.
- Boil 1 minute.
- Set 5 minutes.
- Boil 1 minute.
Freezer bag cooking:
- Place freezer bag in cozy.
- Boil water.
- Pour water in bag to cover food.
- Zip bag.
- Set 15 – 20 minutes.
- Open bag carefully.
Serving suggestion: Serve with tortilla.
