Ingredients:
- ½ cup dehydrated apple slices
- ½ cup dehydrated bread crumbs
- ¼ cup dehydrated grapes
- 2 tsp. sugar
- ¼ tsp. cinnamon
Directions:
- Pack apples, sugar, and cinnamon in a small plastic bag.
- Pack bread crumbs in a small plastic bag.
- Pack grapes in another small plastic bag.
- Enclose all bags in a larger zip lock bag to stay organized.
Yield: Serves 1
Rehydrate:
- Combine apples, sugar, cinnamon, and raisins with ½ cup water in pot.
- Light stove and warm for 10 minutes over low flame.
- No need to boil—you just want the apples to rehydrate and warm up.
- Extinguish stove and stir in bread crumbs. The bread crumbs will absorb the sweet apple juices.
Freezer bag cooking:
- Combine apples, sugar, cinnamon, and raisins in larger freezer bag.
- Add 1/2 cup hot water.
- Let sit in cozy for 10-15 minutes.
- Add the bread crumbs.
- Stir.
