Ingredients:
- 1 cup dried apples/peaches
- 3/4 tsp. brown sugar
- pinch of nutmeg
- pinch of cinnamon
- 1/4 cup granola
Directions:
- Pack apples/peaches, brown sugar, nutmeg, and cinnamon in a small plastic bag.
- Pack granola in a small plastic bag.
- Enclose all bags in a larger zip-lock bag to stay organized.
Yield: Serves 1
Rehydrate:
- Combine apples/peaches with ½ cup of water in a pot.
- Light stove and warm for 10 minutes over low flame.
- No need to boil—you just want the apple/peaches to rehydrate and warm up.
- Extinguish stove.
- Top with granola.
Freezer bag cooking:
- Combine the apples/peaches with ½ cup of hot water.
- Let sit in cozy for 15-20 minutes.
- Top with the granola.
