Ingredients:
- 2 cups brown rice, cooked
- 1 pound hot Italian sausage
- 1 small onion
- 6 eggs
- ½ cup milk
- 1 tsp. seasoned salt
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Directions:
- Combine rice, sausage, and onion.
- Spoon into baking dish.
- Combine eggs, milk, and salt. Pour over rice.
- Top with cheese.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 30 – 35 minutes.
Dehydrate:
Spread on covered dehydrator trays and dehydrate for 5 1/2 hours at 145 degrees.
Yield: Serves 6
Rehydrate:
- Cover rice in pot and soak for 5 minutes.
- Light stove, bring to a boil, and cook for 1 more minute.
- Rest for 10 minutes.
