Ingredients:
- ½ cup old fashioned oatmeal
- 1 tsp. chia seeds
- 1/2 cup dehydrated fruit
- ¼ cup granola ( I use my homemade granola.)
- ½ tsp. cinnamon
- pinch salt
- 4 Tbl. dry milk
Directions:
- Pack dry milk (1 pint bag), granola, and fruit in separate small bags.
- Enclose in larger bag with other ingredients.
Yield: Serves 1
At the campsite:
- Combine all ingredients except dry milk and granola with 1 ½ cup water in pot and soak for 5 minutes.
- Light stove, bring to boil, and cook for 1 minute. Stir frequently and add more water if necessary.
- Remove from heat.
- Let set 5 minutes.
- Combine dry milk with ¾ cup water.
- Pour desired amount of milk on granola. (Drink leftover milk.)
- Top with granola.
