As typical, the alarm went off at 4:00 am. John took inventory of his physical condition and turned off the alarm and went back to sleep. Another day of recuperation in the air conditioning! God provides.
Today was another relaxing day with few activities dispersed here and there.
Enter John Keen into our day with our package from Orion, which he picked up for us from the post office. (See Instagram @separateboats) In addition to our mail, he gifted us with donuts from Shipley Do-nuts (See Instagram @separateboats) and No-Rinse biodegradable shampoo and body bath. River Angels.
Enter folding tent and tarp and packing into the kayaks. These we had laid out to dry after being stowed away wet on Saturday morning, as a result of the storms Friday night.
Enter filling the dromedaries with water. Fill with water every chance we get!
Enter calculating and setting up next food parcel delivery. Only a few to go!
Enter planning next couple of days of travel. Maps studied.
Enter relax! (and enjoy donuts)
