Ingredients:
- ½ cup dehydrated banana slices
- ¼ cup mixed nuts
- ¼ cup dehydrated bread pieces (not crumbs)
- 2 tsp. sugar
Directions:
- Pack bananas and sugar in a small plastic bag.
- Pack bread pieces and nuts in another small plastic bag.
- Enclose both bags in a larger zip-lock bag.
Yield: Serves 1
Rehydrate:
- Combine bananas and sugar with ½ cup water in pot.
- Light stove and warm for 10 minutes over low flame. No need to boil—you just want the banana to rehydrate and warm up.
- Extinguish stove and stir in bread pieces and nuts. The bread pieces will absorb the sweet juices and the bananas will break down into a pudding texture.
Freezer bag cooking:
- Combine the bananas with ½ cup of hot water.
- Let sit in cozy for 15-20 minutes.
- Stir in bread pieces and nuts. The bread pieces will absorb the sweet juices and the bananas will break down into a pudding texture.
